10 lesson course in ITALIANO at Narcisi Winery!

This class is designed for anyone who wants to learn the basics of the Italian Language and explore the culture, the food, the wine, and the beautiful nuances of a poetic language. A fun way to spend a Wednesday evening and get ready for the trip you’ve always wanted to take while sipping delightful Narcisi wine!

Presentations, pictures and short movie clips will be included in each class. Participation encouraged since it is a key aspect in the learning process. There will be minimal “homework” assigned but the class in general will be relaxed and fun.

Classes will be taught by our own Winery Manager, Roberto Smiraglio.
Roberto is an Italian native and established instructor, interpreter and translator in the Pittsburgh area. He has taught numerous individual and group classes and comes highly recommended from the Italian Department at the UNIVERSITY OF PITTSBURGH. Some of his latest work includes interpreting at several press conferences for the Vatican City committee introducing the magnificent “Vatican Splendors” exhibit at the John Heinz History Center Museum ..

• 10 classes
• The book used for the class (provided) : “Italian 10 minutes a day”
• A complimentary glass of Narcisi wine at the beginning of every class
• A complimentary appetizer provided by our restaurant, La Vite at the beginning of every class
• Classes will be 90 minutes long and will start exactly at 6:00pm.
• Classes start Wednesday, January 18, 2012
• No prior knowledge is required
• Class will have no more than 15-20 participants and will meet every Wednesday at 6:00pm for a 10week period
